About CAAMHP

Support Built for Colorado’s Agricultural Community

The Colorado Agricultural Addiction and Mental Health Program (CAAMHP) was created to support farmers, ranchers, and rural families through the real pressures of agricultural life.

Long hours, financial stress, unpredictable weather, isolation, and tough seasons can take a toll — and too often, people in rural communities face barriers when trying to get support.

CAAMHP exists to remove those barriers and make care simple, private, and accessible.

CAAMHP provides free, confidential counseling to Colorado’s agricultural community through providers who understand rural life.

Our goal is to help farmers, ranchers, and their families stay steady through difficult seasons — without cost, long drives, or fear of stigma.

Our Mission

Designed With Rural Colorado in Mind

Everything about CAAMHP was built around the needs shared by farmers and ranchers across the state:

  • Virtual access — support from anywhere you have internet

  • Ag-friendly counselors — providers trained in agricultural culture

  • No cost — up to 10 free counseling sessions

  • Confidential — your privacy always comes first

You don’t need insurance, a referral, or a diagnosis to get started.

A Community Effort

CAAMHP is made possible through partnerships across Colorado’s agricultural, health, and rural support communities. Together, these organizations are committed to strengthening rural Colorado and ensuring farmers and ranchers have access to care that fits their lives.

Why Privacy Matters

We know that in small towns and tight-knit communities, privacy is important.

That’s why CAAMHP protects participant confidentiality at every step. No personal information is shared beyond what’s needed to provide services — and no one needs to know you’re receiving support unless you choose to tell them.
