I am particularly passionate about supporting Hispanic families as they adapt to life in the US while respecting their unique experiences and values. I understand that seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I want to assure you that you do not have to face life's challenges alone. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can express yourself openly and work toward the growth you deserve.
With 10 years of experience in clinical and educational settings, I have had the privilege of helping children, adolescents, families, and adults navigate their challenges. I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a master's degree in Counseling and Mental Health and a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am licensed in the states of Colorado and Florida.
My therapeutic approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems, with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care (TF-CBT). When working with children, I integrate Play Therapy and Mindful Discipline to support their emotional expression in ways that are developmentally appropriate, safe, and engaging.
I find peace and inspiration in nature and animals. I believe in the healing power of connection, not only between people, but also with the natural world. Whether you are looking for support for yourself or your family, I am here to guide you and help you find your best self.
